    Devices for Home Use

The Webster Groves School District will provide a device for your child to use this semester for virtual classes. If you already have a device, please use it as we are limited in our supply of devices to share.

Devices will be distributed from the District Service Center located at 3232 S. Brentwood Blvd. If you have any issues please contact us at support@wgcloud.org

Synchronous Learning: The kind of learning that happens in real time. This means that the teacher and students are interacting in a learning experience together.

Live Virtual Instruction: This aspect of instruction is typically provided as part of Synchronous Learning. In our situation, Live Virtual Instruction will occur using Zoom in whole group settings, small group settings, and one on one settings.

Asynchronous Learning: The kind of learning that happens at any time. All students may not be working on the same task, at the same time.

    Learning Communities

    • We will focus on building relationships between and among teachers and students.

    • We will be intentional in our ongoing efforts to reach out and to know our students and create learning partnerships.

    • We will complement academic instruction with social-emotional learning.

    • We will intentionally build community.

    • We will ensure that students safely work together in a variety of configurations and for a variety of purposes.

    • We will design opportunities for all students to contribute and to share their learning with others.

    • We will ensure learners are able to safely collaborate with each other.
