World Literature and Composition is a year-long course designed to challenge students on multiple levels. The literature is often demanding, and the scope of our exploration takes the students beyond their comfort zone to explore new ideas and take on new perspectives in order to more completely engage with the world.  A rigorous continuation of their journey from Freshman Literature and Composition, this course actively prepares students for upper level courses in their junior year while building essential skills for critical reading and meaningful, informed dialogue within our own culture.
