    November 19, 2019 - Budget adjustments, bonding capacity, facilities funding
    December - No meeting (Winter Break)
    January 21, 2020- State funding outlook, bonding/facilities outlook
    February 18, 2020 - District contract reviews, Food Service, Audit, Bank, etc.
    March -  No meeting (Spring Break)
    April 21, 2020 - Preliminary Budget, enrollment projections
    May 19, 2020- Staffing, salary and benefits
    June 16, 2020 - Final budget, multi-year projections

    NOTE/All meetings are held from 7:00-8:30 AM in the Board Room at the Admin Building, 400 E. Lockwood

  • Mission Statement
    The mission of the Finance Advisory Committee (FAC) for the Webster Groves School District is to monitor financial issues and trends facing the district and provide advice to the district administration and the Board of Education regarding them.

    Finance Advisory Committee Actions (in cooperation with the District staff):

    • Study and deliberate financial issues and areas of fiscal concern to the district and report the results to the Board of Education and district administration
    • Review administrative actions related to the financial matter of the district
    • Advise the Board of Education and administration on district finances, including but not limited to:
    1. policies regarding financial management
    2. referendums (e.g. amount, timing, need)
    3. financial projections and finance-related bid specifications
    • Facilitate cooperation and communication regarding financial affairs between the schools/school district and the community
    • Bring community perspective to the district for planning long-range financial strategies

      Qualifications for the FAC:
    • Professional training or proven expertise in financial management
    • Residence or employment within the Webster Groves School District boundaries
    • Dedication to serving the district and community
    • Willingness to serve as a community liaison
    • Commitment to comply with School Board policies and committee guidelines
    • Ability to attend a majority of the scheduled meetings

    Members shall be appointed to three-year terms by the Board of Education

  • The Finance Advisory Committee meets the third Tuesday of every month at 7am in the Board Room of 400 E. Lockwood Ave.
