David Addison, a Senior Vice President with RGA Reinsurance Co., is serving his fourth term on the School Board. He is certified at the Master Board Member level by the Missouri School Boards’ Association. He holds an MBA from the Olin Business School at Washington University. He and his wife, Rhona, have been active volunteers throughout the district. They are parents to two WGHS graduates. David is a member of the district’s Meet and Confer Committee and represents the School Board on the Finance Advisory Board Committee, the Insurance Committee, the Parks and Recreation Commission and the TIF commission. He has liaison responsibilities between the School Board and Avery, Clark and Edgar Road Elementary schools.

Jo Doll is serving her second term as a member of the board. An active volunteer in the district, she is a licensed physical therapist with 28 years in the field of outpatient orthopedics. She has served on the district’s Legislative Advocacy Committee and in various PTO positions at Hudson, Bristol, Steger, Hixson and the High School. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in physical therapy, both from Washington University. She and her husband have three sons, who are recent graduates of the High School.

Amy Clendennen is serving her fourth term as a BOE member. She is a Shareholder in the law firm Tueth Keeney Cooper Mohan & Jackstadt, PC, where she specializes in education law. Amy earned a bachelor's degree in English from Truman State University, a Master's Degree from Ball State University, and a law degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Amy and Andy Clendennen have twins, both of whom are Webster Groves High School graduates and an eighth grader at Hixson.

Alexander (Alex) Kahn, pricing manager at Nestle Purina PetCare Co. is serving his first term on the board. He holds a master's degree in business administration from Olin Business School, Washington University and a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Alex serves on the following committees for the district: Equity in Education Committee, Issues Committee, and Legislative Advocacy Commitee. He has liaison responsibilities between the School Board and Walter Ambrose Family Center, Hudson, and Edgar Road Elementary schools. He and his wife, Christine, have a first-grader in the district.

Christine Keller, employed in the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, is serving her first term on the Board of Education. She holds a master’s degree in counseling from Webster University and bachelor’s degrees in French and international studies from Illinois College. She currently serves on the district's Calendar Committee, Curriculum Coordinating Council, Strategic Planning Committee, and in the Legislative Advocacy Committee. In past years, she has served on the Building Advisory, Wellness, and Equity in Education committees. Christine served as a volunteer through the PTOs of multiple schools and co-founded the Parent Equity Group at Edgar Road School. She and her husband, Brian, a teacher in the district, have two daughters who have attended six district schools; her oldest graduated from WGHS in 2020.

Kita Quinn is a broadcast engineer for a local television station. She also owns a small home business digitizing old photographs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in film and video from Georgia State University. She currently has three daughters in district schools, one graduate and is a Webster alumna herself. She participates in several equity groups within the district and the community. She was the first equity officer on the Parent Teacher Organization board for Givens Elementary School and has served as a Girls on the Run coach.

Allen Todd is the Director of Partnerships and Initiatives for Health Literacy Media. He holds a bachelor's degree in communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Allen has been active with the district as Chair of the Finance Advisory Committee, a member of the Legislative Advocacy Committee, and a PTO President. He and his wife Heather have 2 kids in district schools.

To be eligible for election, a School Board candidate must be a citizen of the United States, a resident taxpayer in the district, a resident of the state for at least one year preceding election and at least 24 years old.
Elections for the board are held the first Tuesday in April each year. The next election is April 6, 2021. Candidate filing opens at 8 a.m. Dec. 15 . and will continue through regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (except for 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. each day). Filing will end at 5 p.m. Jan. 19.
Board of Education Election
The Webster Groves School District will accept declarations of candidacy from any person interested in running for a position on the School Board in the April 6, 2021 election. Persons interested can file at the district offices at 400 E. Lockwood Ave., Webster Groves. Filing will begin Dec. 15, 2020, at 8 a.m. and will continue through regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (except for 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. each day). Filing will not occur on days that the school district offices are closed for inclement weather, Dec. 23 - Jan. 1 for winter break as well as Jan. 18 for Dr. Martin Luther King Day. Filing will end Jan. 19, 2021 at 5 p.m. For those filing on the first day (Dec. 15), ballot order will be determined by a random drawing. Those filing after that date will appear on the ballot in the order in which they filed. If the district is closed due to COVID-19, board candidate filings will be taken by appointment, except for the first and last days when the office will be open. An information session for people interested in running for the School Board will be held Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. in the district’s service center, 3232 S. Brentwood Blvd.
