• Meet Ms. Torode


    Hi and welcome to the school year! I’m a school social worker for Special School District.  I work at all of the elementary schools in Webster, and Steger Sixth Grade Center, too.  I’ve been with Special School District for fifteen years, and a school social worker for nineteen.  I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from University of Missouri St. Louis in 1992 and my Master’s degree in Social Work from St. Louis University in 1996.  I’ve been in the Webster School District for thirteen years, and I’ve worked with all ages, kindergarten through high school.  It’s been a treat to see children I’ve worked with in elementary school grow into fine young men and women and graduate!

    Outside of work, I enjoy volunteering and attending charity events, spending time outdoors, yoga, music and dancing, long walks in the park with my dog, and spending time with family and friends.
