Arrival & Dismissal procedures will be similar to last year, with a couple of changes to traffic flow for vehicles entering from Gore Ave. Please talk with your child's teacher if they need to have a modified arrival or dismissal due to car pools or walking buddies.

ARRIVAL PROCEDURES

• Similar to last year for those returning families.
• Arrival will begin at 7:40am
• A-L Gray Avenue: Cars approach heading North on Gray Ave. Students enter front door.
• M-Z Gore Avenue: Cars approach heading North on Gore Ave. Left turn into lot only, Left turn out onto Gray only. Cars unload between our Gym Lobby entrance and the New entry way.
• If a student is tardy, they will be buzzed into the building and will check in at the office.
  Breakfast will be a grab-and-go style and will be overseen by one of our Instructional Aides.

A - L Arrival via Gray

Cars approach heading north on Gray Avenue. Students exit the front door.

• STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE and KEEP MOVING.
• CARS pull all the way up before cones for buses
• If buses are gone, pull all the way up
• Cars then head down Gray to Lockwood
• PLEASE, NO CELL PHONE USE WHILE DROPPING STUDENTS OFF! 

M - Z Arrival Via Gore

• STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE and KEEP MOVING.
• Cars approach heading north on Gore Avenue.
• Cars unload between our gym lobby entrance and the new entryway.
• Left turn into faculty lot only.Move toward the cross at Gray/Bristol drive.
• Wait for cue from adult to turn left out of the lot onto Gray.
• Parents say goodby to walkers at Gore walk-through gate.
• Walkers come through blacktop walk-through gate and meet an adult at the walk-through gate by the gym entrance.
• Cars unload at circle drive only
• PLEASE, NO CELL PHONE USE WHILE DROPPING STUDENTS OFF! 

DISMISSAL PROCEDURES

• Similar to last year for those returning families.
• Dismissal will begin at 2:50
• A-L Gray Avenue: Cars approach heading North on Gray Ave. Students exit front.
• M-Z Gore Avenue: Cars approach heading North on Gore Ave. Left turn into lot only, Left turn out onto Gray only. Cars load between our Gym Lobby entrance and the New entry way.
• New: Bus loading zone will be marked by cones on Gray. Bus riders will be dismissed first and then cars will pull forward.

A - L Dismissal Via Gray

• Cars approaching head north on Gray Avenue. Students exit via the front door.
• STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE and KEEP MOVING. This is important to keep the line moving and get all students out safely and efficiently.
• CARS pull all the way up before cones for buses. 
• If buses are gone, pull all the way up.
• Cars head down Gray to Lockwood.
• PLEASE, NO CELL PHONE USE WHILE DROPPING STUDENTS OFF! 

M - Z Dismissal Via Gore

• STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE and KEEP MOVING. This is important to keep the line moving and get all students out safely and efficiently.
• Cars approach heading north on Gore.
• Left turn into faculty lot only.
• Cars load between Gym lobby entrance and new entryway. Move forward to the cross at Gray / Bristol drive.
• Wait for cue from adult to turn left out of the lot onto Gray.
• PLEASE, NO CELL PHONE USE WHILE DROPPING STUDENTS OFF! 

DO:

• Stay in your vehicle
• Say your goodbyes BEORE pulling up
• Make sure your child has everything ready to exit the car

DON'T

• Swerve around the vehicle in front of you
• Be distracted or on your cell phone
• Exit your vehicle
• Block crosswalks
