Visitors, community access to buildings

  • Will the WGSD allow visitors and volunteers at school this year?
Nonessential visitors and volunteers will have restricted access to our buildings this year. The WGSD will closely follow public health advice and communicate any decisions made that affect visitors and volunteers. Plans may vary during the school year, depending on the level of community spread illness. Visitors will be required to wear a mask and to complete a health screening questionnaire.

Parents/guardians who come to school to drop off or pick up a student will not enter the school building. Each school will communicate the specific procedure for this process.

    Will there be parent-teacher conferences?
Yes, we will follow the school calendar date approved for the 2020-21 school year.  Teachers will send calendar invites to parents to sign up for a conference time to meet virtually. As always, please reach out to your child's teacher if you should have any questions regarding your child's progress.

Will we have in-person parent-teacher conferences this semester?
No, we won't have in-person conferences this semester.
