Mrs. Kathy Ecker
I am from St. Louis and grew up in Glendale. I attended Loyola University in New Orleans and began teaching first grade in January of 1991. I have enjoyed teaching in both New Orleans and St. Louis throughout my career. Most of my experience has been teaching first grade and teaching reading to first and second graders. I have also taught third grade, fourth grade, and GED classes. I have my Master's Degree in Elementary Education with Reading Specialization and Reading Recovery Certification. I have been an Avery Allstar since 2006!
When I'm not teaching I spend my time with my husband, Eddie, and my daughter, Molly. We have fun traveling and spending time with our extended family. We also enjoy going out to eat and listening to live music.
