Summer Learning Opportunities


    Students in elementary school
    This summer we will be offering two options for students entering kindergarten through 5th grade to continue learning. For students who qualify for the Celebrate Reading program, individual invitations will be shared with families during Parent-Teacher Conferences in mid-March.

    Avery Elementary will host students from Avery, Givens, and Hudson.

    Edgar Road Elementary will host students from Bristol, Clark, and Edgar Road.

    Adventure Club
    Adventure Club is the onsite before- and after-care program for students attending our elementary summer programs.  Adventure Club offers care from 7 am - 8 am and 11:40 am - 5:45 pm. The cost for Adventure club is $864; the cost for students in Jumpstart to Kindergarten is $360.  It is not prorated.

    Families who indicate interest in Adventure Club on the registration form will receive additional details.  Reach out to Kelley Jones at with questions.

    Bus transportation will be available at no cost for students attending summer programs not held at their home school. Buses will pick-up and return students to their home schools.  Bus registration information will be shared with families after March 24th. 

    Confirmation of enrollment as well as Adventure Club and Transportation information will be sent by March 31, 2024.

    A grab-and-go breakfast will be available for students in the morning. Students will also have lunch/recess if they attend either Celebrate Reading or Adventure Club after SEE.  Students may bring lunch or purchase a hot lunch from the cafeteria.  Families who are eligible for free or reduced meal prices during the school year maintain this status in the summer.

    Students in middle school
    This summer we will be offering two options for students entering grades 6-8 to continue learning.

    Registration for all summer programs begins March 1 at 7 p.m. and closes March 15 at 11:59 p.m.
    Registration for students entering K-8
    1. Log on to the parent portal. (Your username is the email address we have on file. If you forget your password, first clear the username and password fields, then simply use the "Forgotten Password?" option on the Logon screen and the system will automatically email a link to reset your password.)(Hint: Make sure before you hit “Forgotten Password” the username and password fields must be blank in order to receive an email.)

    2. Click on View to fill out the e-Form on the yellow banner of the parent portal.

    3. Click on Summer School 2023

    Registration for students entering grades 9-12

    • Register beginning March 1 at 7 p.m.

     If you live in Webster Groves and your student attends school in a different district and you wish to enroll in summer school, please send an email to with your name, address, student's name, grade, and current school with the program you would like to enroll in.
